Amos Eno Gallery is pleased to present a poetry reading by acclaimed poets Timothy Donnelly, John James and Lynn Xu, and a conversation salon in conjunction with Candace Jensen's solo exhibition Deep Green Query.

The Poetics of Ecology e-Salon* will be held on Friday, March 27, from 7-9 PM (EST), through the online platform Jitsi, in conjunction with the exhibition at 56 Bogart Street in Brooklyn, NY.

*Amos Eno Gallery was temporarily closed through March in observance of CDC recommendations. We plan to reopen with the exhibition Deep Green Query sometime in April, 2020. Art, culture and conversation remain vital and important aspects of our lives even as our communities confront fears, panic and illness. In order to observe public health recommendations and to support the wellbeing of Amos Eno Gallery’s patrons, we are making this event online only.

We hosted this event on Facebook and featured readings by guest poets John James, Lynn Xu and Timothy Donnelly, as well as conversation with the artist about her Gaia Illuminations.

Limited edition poetry broadsides of each of the readers’ work, hand-printed by the artist on her letterpress, will be available for purchase to all attendees. Instructions on ordering a broadside will be posted and shared during the e-salon.

The closing reception for this exhibition was held on September 13, 2020.
